Sicily

Louisa and I met in Kenya a couple of years ago and have stayed close despite having lived in four other countries between us since, so it was such a treat to find out she was coming to Sicily.

Some people are just a blessing, and Louisa is this for me. We had a very happy weekend just wondering around, chatting, drinking prosecco and eating a variety of Sicilian treats. My Italian friends gave me a long list of things we had to try, as well as a little list of bakery goodies to bring back! It is a hard life sometimes!

Tourist cringe!

Being told to shh on the tourist train...come on!
Catania is a gorgeous little town, with beautiful churches, piazzas and cafés. I am yet to see a part of Italy that doesn't include all of that as standard!

LOVE!
