Colombian beaches

The Caribbean coast is so beautiful! The water is so green!

I met a couple of Brasilians in Cartagena so went to Paliomino to meet them for a few days pre hike to chill out. It was lovely to enjoy the sun and the beach and reminisce about Brasil!

I then moved onto Taganga, a small fishing village. It was very hot and dry. There were cacti growing on the surrounding hills which looked burnt and orange. It was very different to how lush and green Palomino was, yet pretty in its own way. It was a sweet little place. It sadly had a very developed beach, but a nice, quiet pre and post hike stop! And an easy chance to eat more fish!

I have over 40 bites already....and this is pre hike. Oh dear. Everyone who hears I'm going on it tells me to take repellant....before sun cream, water.... Oh dear! I have been wearing repellant the last few days.....
