Cordoba

It was interesting to see Argentina's second city. Its architecture was as pretty as Buenos Aires. Argentina is so lovely! There were lots of pretty squares and very impressive churches. We had a walk around to get a feel for the city and saw a cool park, and lots of green areas, as well as its impressive buildings.

Dedication to those who disappeared during the 'Dirty War' in Argentina

Sarmiento Park, which had 200 steel rings, celebrating the city's bicentennial. The rings, one for each year, each have a brief description of something important that happened at that point in Córdoba's history.

We found a Scottish pub, much to Emma's delight (especially after all the Welshness in the last few days!) and happily watched a match there. The World Cup has got us hooked! Our sticker book is proving very popular and it is funny seeing how everyone gets so interested in it and wants to have a leaf through.
